The Fujica ST801, produced by Fuji from 1972 to 1978, stands out as a manual 35mm SLR camera and holds the distinction of being the first to incorporate viewfinder LEDs. This innovation replaced the conventional center-the-needle meter display with a center-the-indicator-light system. The electronic light metering system was designed to eliminate mechanical failures and needle deviations resulting from shocks.
