Evolving from the Yashica 44, the 44 LM is a sophisticated variant boasting a selenium-cell light meter and a redesigned appearance. The Copal-SV shutter, carrying speeds from 1 to 1/500 second plus 'B', features switchable 'M' and 'X' synchronization via a PC socket. Notably, the 44 LM introduces small knurled thumb-wheels for precise control of shutter speed and aperture, visible and adjustable while in the shooting position.
